Boutique Blu-rays aren't cheap by default. Outside sales, most horror Blu-rays from the labels we track cost $24 to $40 in the US and £15 to £25 in the UK. But every label has a cheap tier, and some shops have a lot more of it than others. On 20 October we counted the in-stock horror Blu-rays at $20 or less (US shops) and £15 or less (UK shops).

Tips for buying cheap
- Check whether it's a sale price. Arrow's prices will go back up after 2 November. 88 Films had no sale on when we checked, so its £15 tier is its regular price.
- Shipping isn't in any price here, and on a $7 disc it can be most of the cost. Vinegar Syndrome ships US and Canada orders over $80 for free.
- Region coding matters on Blu-ray. A Region B disc from the UK won't play on a standard US player.
- Every title page on Scream Shelf has a price alert, and we'll email you when the price drops.
