FAQ

When does the Arrow Halloween sale end?

Arrow calls its Halloween sale Shocktober. The US store (arrowvideo.com) and the UK store (arrowfilms.com) both say it runs from 14 October to 2 November 2026, with up to 50% off hundreds of 4K UHD and Blu-ray titles. Arrow's post on X says all offers end on 2 November.

What is Vinegar Syndrome's Syntober?

31 Days of Syntober runs through October. Each day Vinegar Syndrome picks one film and sells it at 50% off SRP with 3x VSMC reward points. The new pick goes up at 12:01 PM ET, and only that day's featured title is discounted.

When does the Powerhouse / Indicator sale end?

Powerhouse Films says its current sale lasts until noon UK time on Wednesday 28 October.

Are Severin, 88 Films, Second Sight or Diabolik running Halloween sales?

Not on their own stores when we checked on 20 October. 88 Films has posted that Barnes & Noble is running a 50% off sale until 8 November that includes its titles. We'll add any sale a shop announces.

How do you pick the marked-down titles?

They come from our own price checks of each shop's public pages. A title is listed when the shop shows a price below its own regular or list price and the disc is in stock. They're sorted by percentage off. Vinegar Syndrome and Severin US price most discs below SRP as standard, so from those two we only count cuts at least 10 points deeper than their usual gap. Prices stay in the shop's currency; we don't convert them, and they don't include delivery.

Do you show Amazon prices?

No. We link to Amazon.com and Amazon UK searches so you can compare, but we don't read or show Amazon prices.
